I feel like Ford kinda shafted on this trade 😅 Ford got the mechanicals and hardware of the new Caddy for use in the new Transit Connect which has all the cost cutting of the Golf 8 that made that such a downgrade on the Golf 7.5 (I don't know about other countries, but Golf sales absolutely plummeted here in Finland once the 8 came out) meanwhile Volkswagen got the new Ranger which is fantastic to reskin into this new Amarok, which looks great and has Ford's hardware which is good, especially if Ford's hardware is even powering VW's software for infotainment and such. Of course, I'm not being totally serious, I know Ford is also getting use of the MEB platform eventually.

  2.  @nothere572  I doubt that cause I've seen recent ID.Buzz and ID.3 reviews where the infotainment still freezes

  3. This is a great thing. Presumably this means the new Transit Connect has the Golf 8's infotainment which... oh boy...
