I still think it's absolutely ridiculous that VW thought it important to put R&D into a fancy dial for just switching drive mode / ambient lighting and they made a whole promotional video for just that. I don't think anybody's out there like "God I wish I had an easy dial to switch my driving mood". Also, you have volume buttons on the steering wheel, why do you need a big dial for that but not temperature?

  3. I mean yeah, it's good that they listened. On the other hand should we applaud VW for still being below the bare minimum? They're still only recovering from the mistakes they made, and their stablemate Škoda was able to go from all touch in the new Octavia/Enyaq to now having a full physical A/C unit again in the Superb/Kodiaq.
