What I love is politicians simultaneously telling people "Climate change is a hoax!!!" while looking at Greenland specifically because of the melting sea ice.

I feel like the reasons might be similiar to the reasons why South Korea has the highest suicide rate by far out of the richer countries of the world.

@Max_Jacoby "Russian fight is existential" lol, lmfao even

It isn't necessarily, it's just saying they're the worst at being religious. Whether that's good or bad is up to the viewer.

Mdanzk Well Spain is pretty damn close to being a third world country with the way the government acts and the level of living among the people. Besides they have a special political reason to reject because like half the Spanish states want independence at some level and if they support Kosovo they would be seen as hypocrites by their people

@wadablewads I disagree, there are still tons of people arguing that climate change isn't happening at all, especially whenever there's a particularly bad winter storm, and if people really were in agreement that climate change was actually happening we would be preparing for the consequences but we're not.

I mean trying to make a bunch of diverse countries / nations into one country never works anyway

If I recall correctly: Finns are very satisfied with where they are in life (People here have an extreme insistency on being regular, a commoner. It's just our mentality) but are commonly depressed, mental illness do be like that sometimes.

Your opinion doesn't sound strange, I think you'll find that a lot of people would agree with you. However a lot of people would argue that hard work is only a small part of the equation, when these people are born into circumstances (not of their own fault, mind you) that allow them to reap benefits out of hard work. But yes, education is extremely important to reducing the inequality.

Combine the carolinas or dakotas, simple the number stays 50

I mean income inequality inherently isn't bad (at least I don't think and most people might agree) but it's rather the extent of it.

Finland and Sweden are slowly rising faster than the sea level so they actually gain a couple km2 of coast every year

Happiness is kind of the wrong word because if I recall correctly it was about satisfaction with where you are in life which you could of course is happiness, but regardless; people here are very satisfied with where they are in life but that doesn't stop them from having mental illness due to their past or environmental factors etc.

@nathanpickett9597 "there is no country in the world that affords their citizens the same freedoms of America" Lol, lmao even

-"A little longer and nobody there would speak any turkic language." That would've been very unfortunate although I am biased as a hobby-linguist. Although I do also oppose the spread of English so...

Are those two extremes the only options?
1
The problem really is that it's human nature to think in extremes so it's either full blown communism or pure capitalism. It doesn't have to be either.

You're saying if everyone is getting richer but is everyone getting richer?

@Tomoyo0827 Sure but mars isn't in a different solar system, is it now. Which was the point.
