I actually think the new exhaust sounds a lot better than the old car, not great but the old one sounds strained
2
The Broncos aren't sold in the UK
2
@Steven Barclay And Jaguar/Land Rover is Indian ha ha bloody ha. Opel is french and Nissan is french too, apparently because ownership means operation right?
2
11:50 Manufacturers always defend this by saying good aerodynamics clear water off itself while driving but like exactly this... If it's rained while you're parked do you just wipe with your coat sleeve before getting in the car? Or say you parked under a tree (p much any city in Europe you'll be parking under trees quite often) what about the pollen in the spring etc? Come on
2
I mean, let's be fair here Carwow compares new cars and the Jaguar XJ isn't being made anymore and hasn't been for a while so you can't buy one new, so why mention it?
2
A very recent example, I'm not sure if it's coming to our markets but the name of the Volkswagen Nivus their newest small crossover means groin in Finnish.
2
I mean if I were to get a car in this class (I wouldn't, cause a small sedan is incredibly impractical) I'd get an XE, because it looks the second best but doesn't have the small annoying quirks of the Alfa, and it's more exclusive than the germans. I just wish there was a Giulia wagon like there was of the 159 or an XE estate.
2
@vct51 He probably would do it if the Giulietta got facelifted again and was therefore a new car but they just stopped producing it. I'd like a new one, but shamefully it seems the Tonale SUV will be it's replacement.
2
Woah, what? A hot hatch without any fake vents? Blasphemy!
2
@ebridgewater It's a city car and it's still faster than most normal petrol cars of any size we get in Europe with their 3-pots. Why does every EV need to be a drag racer?
2
It was imposing before???
2
Apparently april fools came early, considering the Rivian is coming out... Ehhhh
2
None were tested in 2018-2020
2
@Youcallthesebagels_ I think he meant that the picture shown is a Q3, not the Q5 as should be for comparison.
2
Hahahaha it's JLR of course not
2
@KrestenGiese Which is necessary unless you want Toyota to spend way too much money developing a new engine etc and consequently having to price the car at super car levels, unless they hate profit.
2
I'm really impressed with how the Seat designers managed to make the most generic looking car currently on sale today
2
At least imo, liking something is enough reason. With my most recent car purchse I could've gone for a reasonable choice like a passat v6 but I don't like the looks of a passat, so I bought a Rover 75. Worse objectively but I like it Besides prices vary by country, a new M5 is nearly 200k where I live while an i8 is like 140k and few people buy cars based on objective value/stats anyway
2
It's bigger. That's it.
2
Guessing it's UK spec. The UK gets a lot of shit deals when it comes to car specs
2
People enjoy the taller ride height because most people have joint and/or back pain at some point in their life, or just in general enjoy comfort. It's nicer to not have to drop down to your car or have to bow down to load luggage into your car. It's the reason those tall boxy "youth" cars of the 2000's were mostly bought by older people before small SUVs were common, they were easy to get in and out of.
2
@mohayc8877 "aggresivity" ???
2
I love the commenters being like "The doors are actually easy once you read up on how to use them!" oh my goodness gracious when did we get to a point where you need to LEARN HOW TO USE DOOR HANDLES
2
Wouldn't be hard to beat the juke though considering no-one buys it
1
+jarpenthe2nd Because it's the class above
1
It just doesn't look like it's a 2017 car. More on the lines of 2014. It looks just that tiny tad outdated. In and out.
1
This really is more of an MPV than an SUV isn't it. Nothing about it says SUV. Its styled like an MPV, drives as low as an MPV, is basically an MPV on the inside, has visibility of an MPV. Is it an SUV just because it has awd? Though what I think is bad is the virtual cockpit and how for a car at the price range of an audi you really should get it as standard considering peugeots get basically the same thing standard on even the base model.
1
Why'd they make the grille so big it's Audi you're not early 2000s peugeot
1
The qashqai is a good car, it just doesn't have any sense of style, which is why i'd rather have the Kadjar, since it's the same car but with styling.
1
Do you seriously expect me to read a nearly 300 word youtube comment?
1
It's probably just me but interior wise I like the Audi the least, cause the screen just kinda looks like an afterthought sticking out like that and it just kinda looks like a 15 year old design. But then again I also hate the exterior (too big of a grille it's like a 2000's peugeot)
1
Mmm gotta love that sweet visible dust particles and fingerprints on a brand new car
1
They really should to be honest.
1
The silhouette is at least much better than the old one, as well as the interior. The interior was from 2009 and the exterior was shaped like a cheese wedge
1
The giulietta and the 1-series aren't exactly comparable because the giulietta is significantly more expensive and spec-wise the value for money it falls right out, the 1-series is a premium hatch while these three are regular ones. I get the mazda3 though
1
Also the BMW just looks like a mess honestly
1
Because: VW: You buy it for the brand period. Škoda: Cheaper VW with alternative styling and more practicality. Seat: More chique looking cheaper VW. And they're not really sub-brands. DS for citroën is a sub-brand because they made it as one but VW just owns Škoda and Seat
1
The interior and the rear are a HUGE improvement over the old one
1
@furtivedig That would make sense, since the current one just came out a couple years ago so it'd be a facelift.
1
0 dislikes? Holy crap that's good!
1
"new"
1
Sirion I would just get the 3008 or if i for some reason needed more space the upcoming 5008
1
Supcharged Yeah I don't know a single person with an suv that goes offroading. I guess someone somewhere in another country might need offroad capability but let's be serious
1
the reason families commonly buy SUVs instead of MPVs is because they tend to be more stylish, and frankly the touran is kind of a failure in that sense, since now itll lose customers to bettet looking 7 seat suvs.
1
Not available in the UK, so he won't review it.
1
It looks like a pug. For a mercedes coupe it's not very smooth at the front. Also if you're gonna just plop a screen on instead of digital dials, dont bother making it look like dials. If you wanna go screen then go full on screen dont put on dial graphics.
1
If i had kids i'd like them to be able to open the rear doors so no ch-r thank you. I saw one of those parked some time ago and the door handle in the back was eye level
1
I still don't like the A-Class design. Never have. First it looked like a tumor on wheels, then a mini mpv, and then the current design the front is just way too stretched, you look at it from a front angle it's like "oh an estate" then you look from the side and it's a weird mutant
1
The cactus looks bigger but i dont think it's actually that much bigger is it? Idk but I think it's because the C4 is really outdated compared to the other two and the new one is due this year
1
It's a nice refresher in a segment full of tryhard designs
