  8. It's based on the 508 long wheel base model, which we don't get in Europe. That's why it's built in China as the 508 long wheel base is China-exclusive. It's still not full size as in S-Class territory but whereas the regular 508 is more Audi A4 this one is more Audi A6.

  9. It's complicated. Size and price wise it's closer to the E-/5-/A6 models but the rear seat has similiar features as the executive limousine models the S-/7- and A8.

  11. DS is a French brand owned by PSA, a large part of their market is in China though. I don't know but you might be thinking of MG which is 100% chinese nowadays.

  12. I love the interior and exterior design, however I have absolutely no experience or idea of how PSAs Chinese made cars are like in comparison to their others. I understand why they did that, considering that it uses the same platform as the China-exclusive Peugeot 508 Long wheel base model and it's largely aimed at their market since I doubt a new comer sedan will be a sales hit in Europe.

  14. Realistically speaking this competes more with the Jaguar XF and Volvo S90, however Mat is comparing it to the full size sedans and neither Jaguar nor Volvo make S-Class/A8/7-Series competitors.

  20. Jaguar XE is two classes below these cars though? Closest thing Jag makes would be the XF.

  21. To be a bit fair it's also larger than the 508 so compares with an E-Class more than a C-Class like the 508 does.
