What's incredible about the Avenger is that Jeep managed to take what has been a generally reliable and good quality platform from the Peugeot 2008, Citroën C4 etc. and with the help of Fiat (who have a restyled version called the 600) and filled it with gremlins that showed up in first reviews from the jump. It does look rather nice, though.

  2. Yes, it's the same platform as the electric Mokka, Corsa, 208, 2008, DS 3, 600, C4/C4X. Main distinction with the Avenger and it's Fiat brother the 600 is they're made in Fiat's production lines.

You should still run away, as this is built in Fiat's plants instead and has already proved in many tests to be temperamental, however: This technology wise has absolutely nothing to do with Fiat. This is the same platform as the Peugeot 208, Peugeot 2008, Citroën C4, DS 3, Fiat 600, Opel/Vauxhall Mokka and Corsa, and is actually an all new vehicle significantly smaller than any Compass ever made. Nothing to do with the Compass, nothing to do with old fiats.

  4. "so big" it's smaller than a VW Golf in all dimensions except height, where it's a whole 1cm taller. Is a VW Golf a big car to you?
