  1. To anyone going "What if Russia flew just off the US coast???" They already do, you just haven't been paying attention. Russia already flies bombers and fighters just off US or EU airspace, sometimes even coming into the airspace. This is not new. What is new is the drone being taken down.

  3. Drone? Hard to say because Russia doesn't use them. Russia does fly manned aircraft regularly over the US west Coast, though, just like here, in barely international airspace.

  6. Just FYI, Russia flies manned jets around the US border all the time. And no, they haven't taken them down. This drone was also in international airspace.

  7. If they're in your borders yeah but this wasn't, it being unmanned helped the decision though. Russia flies fighters just barely outside northern European or US borders all the time

  8. Flying in international airspace. Russia flies jets around Alaska all the time, just avoiding going into US airspace. It's the same thing.
