I think part of the issue for the LFA was (obviously) that it came out around the same time when another Japanese brand, Nissan came out with a faster, more exotic looking car for a quarter of the price of the LFA in the GTR. This coming from someone who's always felt the GTR is overhyped. I feel a big part of the hype really nowadays around the LFA at least online is just the way that it sounds. You never hear (I feel) about how the LFA is gorgeous, or much about the performance or the interior styling or tunability or anything it's always just about the V10 noise, which is kinda shallow praise.
