I love the comments latching onto the Elon comment (and I admit, I was baited to respond to a lot of them) and calling it politics, when if you've been paying attention the last decade or more, we've known Elon was nuts for YEEAARS before he became a republican, it has nothing to do with politics! He's always done and keeps doing and saying the wildest things even if we take away party lines. You know Elon used to be a California democrat right? And people still called him insane back then too, because he was and still is completely nuts. He's just more visible now because he bought Twitter.

He's insane for non-political reasons too, like being obsessed with the letter X to the point he's naming his children that and all his companies or pretending to be good at video games because despite being the richest man in the world he's desperate for validation.

You can call Musk crazy for non-political reasons too ya know.
6
He was easily caught just a few days ago for pretending to be good at video games he's seemingly never played. Imagine being the richest man in the world BY FAR and own multiple companies but be so insecure that you pretend to be good at video games. That's not a healthy brain, come on now. (If we're saying he's insane for non-political reasons)

Not automatically political, taking political views out of it you can still view Elon as insane for reasons like his obsession with the letter X, his desperation for validation, his tantrums on the platform he owns etc. Doesn't have to be related to politics.
5
Where did he bring in politics? If you're upset about the musk comment, you know there's pleeenty of non-political reasons to call musk insane and people were calling him insane in his democrat california days too, you know. It simply wasn't as widely known before he bought Twitter.

Nothing political about it automatically. Here's some non-political reasons to call Musk insane: - Came up with the Cybertruck - Tweets an unfathomable amount per day - The Thai submarine incident - Is obsessed with the letter X to the point of naming multiple children and companies after it - Pretends to be good at video games for validation despite being the richest man in the world by far - Constantly makes predictions of things his companies will do in a couple years and then not doing them

Other car company CEOs tend to keep a low profile, it's hard to not mention Musk.

@NomenClature-o8s "Move humanity forward" Like promise the hyperloop and then drop it for the sole reason of preventing California from building high speed rail?
3
No, he's not gone crazy because he's always been crazy. Back when he was a democrat too, because he's crazy for non-politics based reasons.
3
Well, that's not disappointing because you know it's garbage going into it on paper.
3
@DirtyDan77 Well, the price isn't the only criticism. The drivetrain was wack because it was what you'd put in a tax dodging PHEV for company car drivers, not a sports coupe.

Where was the politics?

Pretty sure people have been calling Elon demented from back when he was a democrat but now it's a problem, suddenly? Why?
2
@NovaResource Oh please, plenty of people thought Musk was insane before he switched to the republican party. You'd know if you were paying attention back then.
2
@anthony1907 Oh please, plenty of people knew Musk was insane before he switched to be republican and you'd know that if you were paying attention back then.

Not politics.

"Acting like a normal person and saying things normal people say" what 💀 He just got caught pretending to be good at a video game for validation despite being the richest man on earth by far that is NOT normal behaviour, let alone tweeting 24/7 at an alarming rate or naming multiple children after the letter X.
1
What's politics about it? The man throws tantrums left and right, pretends to be good at video games for validation, names his children "X", claims to not sleep, spends all day tweeting, came up with the cybertruck etc etc, plenty of non-political reasons to call him insane.

I guess people who only became aware of what Musk was like when he bought Twitter

It's not politics. Musk was known to be insane before he became a republican, too.
