If I remember right the only real contender this car had was the 3+3 seater Honda F-RV, which was sold for much less time (just 5 years) than the Multipla and in general seems to have been less succesful. In some markets though there are more around since the Fiat was naturally much more of a beater than the slightly more upmarket feeling Honda. The Honda was definitely way more conventional, as on the outside it just looked like an overly wide Fit/Jazz and inside wasn't nearly as full of quirky solutions. (Oh, and fun fact the interior of the F-RV was also available purple)
