I mean I can understand if you don't like the wristband design but I don't get your "if i'm in another state" thing, but why it'd be more practical (imo at least) is say you just came from swimming, you can just go straight to the tailgate and open it, throw your stuff in and then get in the car without having to input a code to the drivers door first and then getting the keys to open the tailgate.
