For everyone crying about Lotus making an electric SUV, please remember that we wouldn't have Porsche anymore had we not been cursed with the first Cayenne. We're lucky Lotus was able to give us the Emira and this existing doesn't take anything away, you can still buy an Emira if you want. But you most likely won't.

@robadams1645 Not really, the first gen was finished off at Porsche's own plant but they've always been produced at the same Volkswagen Bratislava plant as Audis and VWs and Cayennes share almost all their technology and the platform with the Audi Q8/7, VW Touareg, Lamborghini Urus and Bentley Bentayga.

By US regulations a certain minimum of the light surface has to be lit up on the first "blink". If a cascading signal only lights up a tiny bit at the very start of the animation, that counts as the "blink". It's really strange, but that's why some Audis in the US have cascading signals but also have an entire additional light blink all at once, or why the Mustang gets away with it because the individual parts that light up are so big.
