@Kristoffelsson People born in the past ~30 years are used to most cars being quiet (as in petrol/diesel cars make very minimal noise nowadays, petrol cars haven't for a long time) so to a lot of people loud engine sound is just annoying, like a scooter going by close making you plug your ears. Now when kids are ~15-18 and all the cool hypercars coming out are electric, I'd say there's a very high chance an engine noise will become a drawback no matter how we associate with coolness now having grown up with the V8 sound.
