  1. If this is the swan song for petrol Lotuses, I think it's the best they could do. The shared interior components obviously don't matter since Evora had ancient Ford parts instead, the interior seems great, the outside looks fantastic like a baby Evija, multiple engine and gearbox choices incl. a 6-speed manual with a (presumably) reliable Toyota engine that sounds great... It could theoretically be lighter, but keep in mind it's also much newer (and thus stricter with safety = heavier) than the current 718 and it's by no means ungainly. Really, I'm glad for the Geely ownership that they let Lotus be Lotus with their sports models, while having them develop money maker models (Eletre) to help keep the brand afloat.
