NigelDK Iceland isn't part of Scandinavia either. Iceland is part of wider Northern Europe like Finland as well and Iceland counts as Nordic, like the Scandinavians.

Of course North America and Europe have extremely different tastes and different things are offered but in Europe we get gorgeous wagons like the Peugeot 508, Renault Talisman or Škoda Superb, the long sleek shape beats a tall shape for me and many others.

Thing is people are still buying minivans because there are religious fanatics in the US who breed like rabbits, and people who breed like rabbits for no other reason than they're stupid.

@bighands69 They're not better than VW but they're definitely better than US VW, since they only sell their spare crap in the US which is why it's cheap, just look at the US spec Passat and compare it to the years ahead EU Passat.

@AdamSmith-gs2dv Idk about you but I'd certainly call an Explorer an SUV, and if they require a truck platform isn't the only SUV still on sale pretty much the Escalade and it's GM faceswaps?

The difference is so funny to me. I'm Finnish and whenever I hear Americans refer to like an Audi Q7 as a "mid-size" I can't help but laugh, those are unnecessarily huge, couldn't imagine before what an Escalade or something would look like on our roads but recently people have started importing RAMs and such here, so I unfortunately know now.
