@RechtmanDon The latter would be a very strong claim to say out right that Taiwan is considered Beijing's sovereign territory, when so much of the world treats it as a separate entity in trade, diplomacy, politics and geography with exceptions only in official recognition to keep trade relations with China. It wouldn't be very honest reporting.

@RechtmanDon Sure but no matter the trade size my electronics still say made in Taiwan and my snacks say product of Taiwan, not China. It is not sovereign territory of Beijing in practice no matter how many embassies China has in other countries.

@RechtmanDon Besides their own government, money, military, national image and culture you're right there is little evidence of Taiwan being a separate country.
