  1. A diplomatic end is a nice idea in theory, but this man did not say a single practical example of what a negotiated peace would look like. He only said the security interests of all parties involved be taken to account, which is the absolute bare minimum as that's the first requirement of diplomacy in the first place. If we're going to be pushing for a diplomatic peace deal, then we have to also have ideas on what it would actually look like! I.E what concessions would actually have to be made and how peace would practically be guaranteed for Ukrainian people and not a frozen conflict that's at constant risk of thawing. Solutions are needed, not hopes.

  2. Americans who proclaim to be against an imperialist mindset propagate that exact mindset when they propose solutions of American interest vs Russian interest and ignore the interest of Eastern Europe.
