Let me guess, the Tennessee woman was uninsured? I can't see another reason as to why she would otherwise be discharged from the hospital... It's also VERY telling that the first thing the officers think is that she's faking it. Any authority with legal backing CAN NOT go into every interaction with assuming the worst of the people they face, and yet they clearly have that attitude all the time. That is one of the worst poisons in the policing systems, of many.

It's shocking that of all the things covered about the Ukraine war 1 year anniversary, Russian state TV parading kidnapped children from Mariupol onto stage at the Luzhniki anniversary concert isn't one of them. It's not foreign media making it up, Russian TV themselves broadcast it, and made a girl who lost her mother to shelling thank the Russian soldier for saving her! Actions like that are obviously not about geopolitics, but about erasing Ukrainian identity.
