  6. Plus there's also Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Philippines (possibly India) and other ASEAN countries. Many, many places for forward deployment of all kinds, cooperation, and replenishing.

  15. Those SM-6s, SM-3s, Patriot, THAAD, etc, etc, etc systems are all over the Indo-Pacific area and are not sitting on, or reserved for, the US mainland. I agree about the nuclear subs though. It would be much more cost and militarily effective to buy more modern diesel-electric submarines instead of nuclear powered. Cheers.
