  1. The world is definitely de-coupling, that's been happening for the last 8 or so years. Covid just accelerated that MUCH, MUCH, faster than the CPC anticipated. So now they act like children and blame everyone but the actual root cause (the CPC). I don't think informed Chinese citizens are buying it though.

They had to implement the BRI, you can only build so many ghost cities to artificially inflate their GDP and keep western capital until someone says, "Why do we have 4 billion homes for a shrinking population of only 1 billion people?" They're completely S.O.L., with a dictator that has a 6th grade education trying to stay in power for as long as possible. Should be exciting. 😮
