  1. Also, the "proxy war" is in as much interest for Europe as the US, next countries after Ukraine are all European NATO countries, don't think Europe wants another full out war on its soil for a myriad of reasons. Nukes being one maybe the largest.

  2. I believe the UK finally paid off debt occurred from ww2 to the US in the year 2000 I believe. Not sure who's footing the Ukrainian bill, maybe 75% US, 25% Europe but I seriously doubt that.
