What most Americans not realise the fact that Cuba never got ahead is not because of Socialism, but because of 63 years of sanctions by the US!I lived in Yugoslavia, and the country had enough companies to make everything needed. As soon as we got demockracy and Western involvement it went down the drain.People had healthcare free and education and are far more educated than the gringo's. Employees got housing and could buy a house or apartment backed by your company and you paid the mortgage back to your company. In the West banks steal and make you homeless. And then US and the West say: communism failed yes it failed but only because of sanctions and stupid interference by the same money hungry banks and thieves from the West. Venezuela had before Chavez high rate of illiteracy after his death 90% could read and right. He sold oil for beef to Argentina and then the big obnoxious neighbor US destroyed the country and put sanctions on Venezuela because they wanted free oil and paid in dollars not beef. US tells only selective truths, most US college students only know of geography if they invade other countries. And they did for 224 years of their existence, and then they point finger to Russia, bunch of hypocrites!
