  1. "Quit on society". I (literally) just did, and I am not even a genius. Intelligent? Yes. Talented? Yes. Scientific? Yes. But, I really, really hate the Narcissistic, broken, banal, non-scientific society which I've watched devolve over 4+ decades. I just published a 141k novel (one of four), but... yeah... no thanks regarding society. 😎

  4. For 40+ years everyone around me could not have possibly cared less than my sense of smell was extremely adept. To this day, I'm completely ignored. It is what it is, and I don't really care about it anymore.

  5. Perhaps the most frightening thing would be if any cataclysmic disaster destroyed ASML altogether. This also makes me wonder about 12,000+ years ago, when ancient (but likely technologically advanced) civilizations simply disappeared from the planet due to catastrophic events. Most records are digital and "virtual", so, if a huge facility is destroyed, that means 100s of years of tech can be lost. 🐲✨🐲✨🐲✨
