  1. France and Germany wants Russia to negotiate with Ukraine. That's a waste of time. The US wants Ukraine to fight to the last Ukrainian and Zelensky, appointed by Victoria Nuland will never be allowed to negotiate a peace agreement. US neocons want this war to go on for at least 10 years. 10 years after Russian gas and oil have been cut off from the west. That's what France and Germany are afraid of. Germany will have to sign long term contracts with the US and Qatar for nat-gas at 2X the cost of Russia gas for10 maybe even 20 years. This is a potentially a several trillion dollar cost for Europe. The UK doesn't need Russia gas and doesn't yet realize that their economy will suffer just as much because all energy prices will stay high for a long time if the war doesn't end.
