  1. The canadian ex ambasador is yet another NEOCon. They completely fail to grasp that US military might backed by 2Trillion dollars spent over 20 years had failed to defeat the Taliban. For the 1st time in 20 yrs Afghanistan has a chance for peace. But NEOcons will push for continued bombing by the US, and economic sanctions. This is the surest way for making the Taliban want to retaliate. The only way they can is to let Al Quida get re-established. NEOCons like Alexander live in world where they can wage war and kill 200,000 Iraqis, with impunity creating lifelong enemies all across the world. In vietnam, we had the sense to leave Vietnam alone after we lost, instead making mortal enemies all across the globe.
