  1. First Zelensky says the only way to peace is negotiations. But then Victioria Nuland yanked on the chain attached to his collar and brought him to heel. Only total victory is acceptable says Zelensky. Why does the US want this war to last essentially for ever? Because the economic war so far hasn't worked. In spite of the sanctions and all the propaganda that tells us Russia is suffering under our sanctions, the opposite is true. Russia is making more money on energy sales to Europe than at any time in history, over 1 billion/day. Their defense budget was 65 Billion, another two weeks and Russia can afford two more wars like Ukraine. Europe has to stop buying Russian gas, before Russia has enough money for 3 more wars like this one. Meanwhile UK is facing 9% inflation and food inflation is much worse. Gas has to stop for Russia to be defeated economically. Russia has to be defeated (economically) before Zelensky will be allow to consider a cease fire.
