On another You tube channel, it said China's car market will be 80% EV by 2030 and while China was Toyota's biggest market in 2021, it will be gone from China by 2030. And a hydrogen ICE car? It produces NOx polution and is extremely inefficient compared to battery EVs. EV still need a better battery. The # of times a lithium battery can be charged/recharged is silll very limited.

The next Kodak. Toyota is by far the stongest and biggest of the Japanese auto makers. Japanese automaker's biggest market was China and their 2nd biggest market was the US. THey've lost China, and for a short while will retain the US because US's tariffs and sanctions on Chinese automakers. But it's just a matter of a few years. The impact on Japan's economy will be huge.

Google this and there's zero news of the Saudis/UAE attacking Yemen. This sounds like totally fake news. Yemen is still in the middle of a civil war that hasn't ended. The non-Houthis Yemenies are supported by UAE. This seems to be flaring up again. But in no way were Saudi or UAE forces involved.

Saudi Arabia had bombed Yemen for 8 years. The US bombing isn't much compared to that. But losing a F/18 to a Houthis fired (Russian manufactured?) missile is totally new. In the future F/35's will have to go in. But if the Truman carrier has 50 F/18's each costing $60M, that's now just $3B worth of paperweights.

All part of the Thucydidies trap. A rising power must be crushed by the established power. The question is, is it too late? The US neocons are not shy about using military force. Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, the Balkans in the 1990's and of course Iraq, where the US fabricated the iie of WMDs to justify an invastion that in the end killed 1 million Iraqi civilians. The US neocons are not afraid to use military force. and would not hesitiate even a second if it knew it would win.

The NYTimes reported that since China's DJI put an embargo on the sale of drones and components used to build drone, the production of drones in Ukraine has dropped significantly. Some said Ukraine uses up 10,000 drones per month. So the lack of supply parts from DJI is having a major impact in Ukraine.

China has invested a huge amount of money and technology to make the US carrier obsolete. Why would they invest money in a weapon system that they made obsolete?

Why not donate or sell these abandoned vehicles at very low prices to African in African countries where people can't otherwise afford a car? That would promote those countries to hire Chinese companies to build freeways in those countries.

Speak softly and carry a big stick. China has halted all rare earth exports to the US as well as a number of key materials such as gallium, germanium, antimony etc. It's also continuing to sell US treasuries as they mature, not buying new ones. China is also selling dollar denominated bonds.

There have been a huge number of you tube videos on China invading Taiwan. They all imply that Taiwan might even win such a battle. Why is there such a huge propaganda onslaught? One possibility is that the Biden admin feels they need to start a proxy war before the election because Trump will certainly win. The war in Gaza has shown the Biden admin's more compass is totally broken and while the GOP's is no better with Nikky Haley writing a message promoting genocide, there are large groups within the US who want Biden and his democratic supporters to pay a price for GAZA. These may fell a war with CHina is the only way to win the elections. Or even worse a war might be an excuse to declare marshall law and postpone the election.
