  1. Saudi Arabia had bombed Yemen for 8 years. The US bombing isn't much compared to that. But losing a F/18 to a Houthis fired (Russian manufactured?) missile is totally new. In the future F/35's will have to go in. But if the Truman carrier has 50 F/18's each costing $60M, that's now just $3B worth of paperweights.
