  1. Is China in reality buying lots of Qatar gas, to boost prices to help Russia? Russia has been wanting to sell nat gas to China through power of siberia 2 but that pipeline hasn't started construction. The thing is 10 years from now renewable energy will be so much of the world's energy that all hydrocarbon prices will drop. But a separate possible connect the dots is the coup in Niger and Macron publicly saying Europe should not be vassals of the US. The coup leader was trained in the US and had long been a US supporter. A French state owned company produces most of the uranium in Niger which it sells at a huge profit leaving little for the people of Niger. The question is will China try to get central Asian countries to increase Uranium production to help France? Or will France buckle and beg the US to not order the Niger government to nationalize the company?
