  2. a buddy of mine regularly feeds cats around his house. i semi adopted one stray that i befriended since i cant have pets where i live. after she grew up into young adulthood, she started disapering for a few days, a week, a couple weeks, and once over 6 weeks (i assumed the worst). she always showed back up. as someone around the neighborhood was trapping and releasing into the countryside cats, we think thats what was happening to her. some local families had beloved family pets disapear in this manner. i know it was her because, having grown up around cats all my life, i can tell them apart. plus, more importantly, i know its her because of her not only distinctive meowing, but her distinctive way of meowing. luckily she stopped disapearing a couple years ago. dont know what id do if she disapeared and didnt turn back up.
