  3.  @jamesmorrow1646  define "comparable" and why its a valid parse of the data (other than being convenient to your narrative). well, 22,000+ gun control laws later mass shootings seem to be getting more prevalent (especially under democratic regimes). so i would say gun control isnt working, obviously. jusy like autralian gun control doesnt stop your bikie gangs (as well as criminals in brazil, canada, israel, mexico, and the uk) from setting up their own illicit firearms factories and manufacturing their own fully finished, fully functional, fully automatic firearms essentially making them better armed than before your bans. cheers from america.

  5. the example of the puckle gun is useful because it illustrates firearms inventors were thinking about other things than muzzle loaders and that the founding fathers knew of weapons other than muzzle loaders and therefore, could envision future innovation in firearms.
