jim acost her is not a journalist. hes a presstitute of the worst sort. im not an LEO, but i believe from a legal standpoint, what acosta did would constitute simple assault. the microphone was presumably white house property or under their care. so the intern was entirely justified to retrieve it when indicated to by trumps commands. she was clearly reaching for it when acost her brought his hand down on her arm pushing her hand down onto his, not the other way around. while this was clearly not a serious attempt to harm her or steal whitehouse property. it was a serious breach of etiquette, and a violation of her personal space. i believe if she chose to press the issue with law enforcement an LEO would have to arrest acosta and put the matter before a judge.
