  10. pretty sure halyna didnt tell baldwin to pull the trigger. pulling the hammer back only far enough to not engage the safety stop will not fire a live round. if you pull it back further it will engage the safety stop, then the half cock, and then full cock. the hammer will not drop from any of these positions until the trigger is pulled. the hammer will not fall from half cock even if the trigger is pulled.
