  2. i dont know if id call kirks initial attitude towards klingons as biggoted. hes got very valid experience and reasons to feel the way he does. its not based on making a racial value judgement. its based on rational opinions based on actual experience.

  3. re jar jar abrams "trek"; if you were stuck in a starship as goofy looking as the jj pretenderprise wouldnt you want to get out? i sure would. and as far as st;twok while it was handle with great emotion by great actor, its almost as hackneyed as jar jar abrams "trek". the whole mechanism of spocks death is ridicules. the need for there even to be a "vulvan murder room" that spock must sacrifice himself in is ridicules. surely they couldve come up with a more meaningful way for spock to sacrifice himself if that was the goal.
