@citizenfoffie7605 what thing? thanks, it was graduation gift from a teach of mine (mrs joan gray). it belonged to her father lt willaim lewis gray of the 1257th combat engineers. he wore it on the 3rd wave of d-day, campaigning through france and belgium, during the battle of the bulge and on into germany.

i couldnt forget if i tried. the events of that awful day are seared into my psyche. all my memories, experiences, and events are delineated either before or after 9/11.
