  8. i dont know anyone who believes that america is solely paying for the war in ukraine. ive never heard anyone say anything like that. whats incontrovertible is that the usa is paying the lionsshare (by far) and not getting anything for it since it wasnt structured as a loan. not to mention sending tons and tons of military supplies. theres a real perception that, with ukraine running short on manpower, there will be calls for us boots on the ground. some us forces are already in ukraine to operate weapons systems sent there. the feeling is that direct us involvement is inevitable as time goes on if the war doesnt end. ukraine IS a european problem and europe DOES need to solve it. whether the usa plays a part in that or not is up to europe. europe has freeloaded off of the usa long enough. were not saying we want zero involvement in europe, just that its time for europe to foot the bill. the usa is 37 trillion (with a T) in debt. were getting quite sick and tired of europeans bagging on the perceived flaws in our social policies when much of what theyre touting of their own is payed for with monies european countries do not have to spend on defense because of the defensive umbrella provided by uncle sam. europe is getting a lot more than 300,000 us troops. its getting the threat of us retaliation if attacked, which will involve a lot more than 300,000 troops. i dont think you can put a numeric value on that level of deterrent threat.

  11. thanks for this video! the footage solved a mystery ive been interested in for a number of years. im into m1 helmets and have observed some black painted ones as well as some lime green painted ones for a few years now. as far as the lime green ones i knew they were us navy as ive seen an example stenciled "U. S. N." leaving little doubt as to the user lol. so i speculated that the black ones were us navy as well but had seen no photographic evidence to support this. that is until this video. the color footage shows the handlers wearing both black deck helmets and m1 helmets very clearly. so mystery solved! the black helmets were drone handling crew! plus there is one segment showing a handler wearing a lime green deck helmet so i think its proper to speculate that some crew also wore lime green m1s as well. thanks again!

  14. i think the debate will never end, because like any other piece of machinery, they have good days, and bad days and the same machine wont make the same speed one day, that it made another due to a myriad of factors. and like you pointed out with the ki-83, a difference in fuel can make all the difference.
