thanks for this video! the footage solved a mystery ive been interested in for a number of years. im into m1 helmets and have observed some black painted ones as well as some lime green painted ones for a few years now. as far as the lime green ones i knew they were us navy as ive seen an example stenciled "U. S. N." leaving little doubt as to the user lol. so i speculated that the black ones were us navy as well but had seen no photographic evidence to support this. that is until this video. the color footage shows the handlers wearing both black deck helmets and m1 helmets very clearly. so mystery solved! the black helmets were drone handling crew! plus there is one segment showing a handler wearing a lime green deck helmet so i think its proper to speculate that some crew also wore lime green m1s as well. thanks again!
