  1. given the uniqueness of the romainian m39 helmet, i doubt anyone could mistake romainian troops for anyone else or anyone else as romainians. could they have been hiwis wearing captured dutch m34 helmets? possible. but i think it unlikely as captured dutch helmets were given/sold to romainia. but as they say; "never say never".
