  3.  @Mr.Speed88  There's still more future to be had. When I started college, you could smoke in class. Now I don't even know if you are allowed tobacco in the same city limits. Come to think of it, H- was against smoking also.... People are moldable

  4.  @MattPSU02  I had an old friend who'd been a high up at NASA and funded a lot of their projects. He believed in climate change, but only so far as it was a natural occurrence. He funded a lot of the scientists (as in signed the checks) and said that it was all about the money. The scientists wanted faster computers to run their models and he was one of the reasons Cray existed. You can make a model say anything, and there was more money in making come to certain conclusions.

  8.  @JB-yd9nd  I have been screaming this for years. Before the bad Europeans came, the continent was covered with buffalo. From what I could find, there were 70million of them vs the 90 million cows of today (and India has far more than much of the rest of the world combined). Buffalo are about 50% bigger than cows, so if you add up the biomass methane production capacity, we have less now than 500 years ago.

  10.  @beachsunand80smusic  I have been making computer models since the 80's. It was literally the first computer program I ever wrote, I majored in it in college and did it for a living for 30 years. It was even my job title :)
