@markevans8206 Yes, money controls the government, but before WW1, anyone could create their own money or go to a field and dig it out of the ground. Or get it from sea water.

@calysagora3615 Everything is subject to the laws of economics (money) which is entirely controlled by the government. Of course you could question (but not here) who control the government. Make money free again.

@markevans8206 Every bank issued their own currency and debts were settled inter bank via gold, but it was up to them. Silver is written into the constitution as money and the dollar defined as 24 grams of gold. The USD is another currency created by private banks and adopted by the government as its official money. People may have been poorer, but world wars are not possible without fake money. It was responsible for the downfall of almost every civilization in history....Soviet Union, France, Weimar Germany (allowing for the rise of the nazis), Rome (Crisis of the Third Century). Marx demanded a central bank for his project which has lead to hundreds of millions of deaths. Nuclear war would likely not be possible without fake money. everything in life is a trade off. The FED admitted a few years go that they are responsible for wealth inequality.
