"Why the Future Does not Need Us" by Bill Joy, The plan is a post human future where we can use eugenics to tun ourselves into gods. Really, I used to study this stuff. These are a bunch of MIT PhDs saying this with actual plans. Vernor Venge PhD, UCSD died 2 weeks ago. He was an author to much of this
