  6. Marx started Communism as a religion. Everything in every way must be equal, then there will be no more wars or violence over envy. All the economics stuff as brought in as a means to get to this utopic vision of humanity's future. When people say that the economics of communism does not work, they assume that it is supposed to work as the communists say, but that is not the real intention, even most true believers do not know that. This is known as a gnostic religion, a religion of man worship.

  9. @chach-ec1gn The political scientist and philosopher Eric Voegelin explores this in the book _Science, Politics and Gnosticism_. He studied how totalitarian governments like national socialism resemble the ancient religion of gnosticism. it explains so much of the last few hundred years of world history and wars.
