I've rarely used anything that I learned in college on the job. I don't know anyone who has.

If I ate what I ate in college, I could easily do it today for less than $2/day.

@WickedIonic5N I am not a psychologist, but yes it does sound like it because that is all that you see. Good luck on not being judged by the societal norms of the years 2400.

With a debt based monetary system, you must continue to inflate or die (system reset). We are at the end of the current cycle, and without a major war, they have to find things to blow money on.

@netbeh But computers were $20,000 more

@LUCSchnl > they didn't tell her I'm sure it was in the contract

@josh5dude Can you name a single subject that you cannot master with a $50 computer and an internet connection?

@AB-ou5qc I learned in 2008 that being responsible is only for losers.

@andrewzimmer73 Same here. And I lived like i did in college. They would constantly make fun of me as I had a high paying job and could afford much more.

@Bill Randleman Minimizing expenses is the key to a happy life. Why kill yourself to buy things to impress people that you don't like and that don't like you?
1
@tavroaar8173 You want people to be like pets, fully taken care of? Maybe like the Eloi, without any worldly worries from HG Wells?
1
@cherylk.2474 It's already ruined, we just don't see it yet. The entire world actually. Prepare accordingly

Can't you get a lot of that money back by selling them at the end of the semester? And maybe go in and share books with classmates. I did this with no problem. Not only that but the university library had older edition of books

@damiandmb2092 It's not about Ukraine, covid, student debt, free houses for all, new aircraft carriers, etc, it is about borrowing money. Without exponentially borrowing more money, the system will lock up. It requires perpetual growth. The bank is the government and must be fed.

If you've paid your loan off, can you get a refund?
1
Government debt is reaid through inflation

@osomedude1 The purpose of school is not to teach you facts and numbers to remember but to discern hype and how to debate bad data. It's not there to interpret the data for you, that would be propaganda.
