  2. I worked and saved for literally years to buy things that you can now find for free on craigslist. I was pretty motivated and worked very hard, crating businesses and making the inflation adjusted equivalent of thousands of dollars in grade school. There is no motivation to work now. Most of my friends quit working in their 30's and 40's when their houses were paid off.
