@CCrescence Eerily accurate from what I can remember. I think it ties in with Nietzsche, but I've never read anything by him. I like his explanation of the relationship between civilization and religion and if you want to change it, you must change the other. It would describe the culture war as a war over civilization. People like Hitler and Marx were interested in civilization building and were ultimately theologians, not economists and dictators. Don't know how much I can say here haahahha🤐 (edit) If you are talking about the Voegelin book...I'm pissed that I did not read this in high school. It opened up a whole new world about how to look at history, ww2, communism, wars,......
