@pokettomonsta There are several forms of lying to non-believers that are permitted under certain circumstances, the best known being taqiyya (the Shia name). These circumstances are typically those that advance the cause of Islam - in some cases by gaining the trust of non-believers in order to draw out their vulnerability and defeat them.

@davidhbrown9767 To be fair, it's difficult to cram thousands of years of history into a few hundred hours over 12 years of school. I've probably spent 80 hours a week on some of this stuff for the last 4 years and am amazed by decades of work that some people put into researching these things I'll never know

It's everywhere in the world and nobody cares. Best to spend all of your efforts on extracting revenge for long dead people. I've read that there are more slaves in the US today than there were in 1860, they just go by another name and aren't visible.
