I have very rarely used anything that I learned in college AS AN ENGINEER. Most of the needed skills that I posses were either learned on my own before I went to college, in high school or on the job. And that was decades ago. College is a huge scam.

Remember the reason for this is so that you will accept draconian measures that you would not otherwise allow. Yes please surveil us harder

Even those fields are becoming a scam. Some high end tech companies are dropping degree requirements. All of my tech jobs used knowledge that I learned on my own or on the job. Half a decade of university and only use things I learned a handful of times. A dozen upper level math classes and all I ever use is high school algebra.

Sounds just like I was in Russia.

And people were mostly self sufficient then.

They do not need to tax anyone. Taxation is only used for punishment. Taxing billionaires at 99%, even 100%, would have no effect on anything other than taking the money from billionaires. Money collected from taxes is literally and figuratively burned.

The fashion industry accounts for nearly 10 percent of global carbon emissions, and at the current pace of manufacturing, emissions will surge more than 50 percent by 2030.

Money is debt. It is not printed into existence, it is loaned into exisence. If there was no debt, there would be no money.

Unless you live on a farm and grow potatoes or wheat, it's practically impossible for the average person to grow a significant amount of food at home.

@backacresalaska2272 I agree, but people should not go out and buy a pack of cucumber seeds and feel they have things covered. I know a lot of people from eastern european countries with dachas, generations of experience who find it difficult to feed themselves in bad times. It's not that easy. A lot depends on where you live and local growing conditions. Not to mention its probably too late to start this year. A few hundred dollars of store able grains is more efficient time wise than living from a garden.
