Thesis: dead Antithesis: alive Synthesis: 🧟

🤣It really is a death cult when taken to its logical conclusion

Nietzsche's lament that 'god is dead' opening a hole for a new god?

"Anyone looking for black shirts, mass parties, or men on horseback will miss the telltale clues of creeping fascism. In any First World country of advanced capitalism, the new fascism will be colored by national and cultural heritage, ethnic and religious composition, formal political structure, and geopolitical environment... In America, it would be supermodern and multi-ethnic-as American as Madison Avenue....It would be fascism with a smile." ---Czeslaw Milosz

Most people are. Many years ago pre-web, but still lively internet culture, I used to troll people by seeing how many anti-nazis I could get to agree with hitler quotes (almost everyone). It was like when that guy got an academic journal to publish Mein Kampf from a feminist perspective 🤣
42
@NoPrivateProperty Who is the cult leader of capitalism?
31
@tomdegisi "A nation, as expressed in the State, is a living, ethical entity only in so far as it is progressive. " Mussolini, The Doctrine of Fascism

Keynesian economics, runs the modern world. Keynes served as director of the British Eugenics Society from 1937 to 1944. As late as 1946, shortly before his death, Keynes declared eugenics to be "the most important, significant and, I would add, genuine branch of sociology which exists."

Owning nothing and being happy about it seems pretty anti-materialist.
15
The No True Socialist fallacy. It's amazing how much socialists agree with h- as long as you don't tell them where it came from. It goes for a lot of other disliked NotTrueSocialists, not even allowed here
15
H.L. Mencken: The urge to save humanity is almost always only a false-face for the urge to rule it. Power is what all messiahs really seek: not the chance to serve.
14
"But that's not real Third Positionism"
14
@nehrigen The foundational book of the kkk is the Kloran. A think they burn crosses. Their original symbolism included the ☪🤔

I've known about the Gnostic problem and it was driving me crazy all of these historical coincidences (I'm not a historian and was not actively searching for anything) that seemed non-random. I just didn't know anything about gnosticism or even its existence, but yes now I can see it everywhere. "Modernity has become the most successful Gnostic myth in history."

Gnosticism: The Force Behind the Chaos by Vincent Gorre
11
From the evi website: Voegelin dedicated his life to the study of widespread political violence and the devastation that results when totalitarian ideologies that closely resemble religions foster the notion that pursuing the creation of utopias on Earth is achievable and worth any cost, including death.

The DAP had the ns added under H. People will deny it. Show them the 25 points of national socialism.

"But the devil’s goal is not only to present man with an egalitarian vision of the universe, but also a vision that destroys the very concept of being. He wants to implement a state of nothingness, to reabsorb creation into the primitive nothingness, which is gnosis." Haha... I just read this on another site 30 seconds before I read your comment

I think Blavatsky had a big influence here. Also, Jain cosmology believes in 6 mile tall giants

@rudolphguarnacci197 Modernism
8
@TheImperatorKnight Thank you. I have beep creating a similar map for myself and everything helps.
8
@chamberpot969 Lebensraum and mass murder weren't part of the 25 points
8
You will own nothing and we will be happy
8
@rudolphguarnacci197 "Gnosticism is the Root of Modernity"
7
@AJX-2 This was Nietzsche's fear. As Lewis put it, 'Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. '.
7
@TheCrapOnYourStrapOn Post the 25 points of national socialism.
7
@16:14 The center plank of Marx's Manifesto is "Centralisation of credit in the hands of the state", or 'A central bank'. This is the antithesis of capitalism.
7
Censorship is what cults do.
7
@NoPrivateProperty Anarchy!
6
...German....you should see their run on words
6
[The Gnostic] influence has been so extensive that if you attempt a philosophical, political or theological discussion today, with virtually any person on the planet, you will quickly discover that the other person’s ideas will be entirely grounded in Gnostic mythology. Modernity has become the most successful Gnostic myth in history.
6
Maybe Tik could think about doing a series on Fabian Socialism😱
6
What's the difference between The 25 Points of National Socialism and the 10 Planks of Communism?
6
Reminds me of something i found while reading about Gnosticism: "But the devil’s goal is not only to present man with an egalitarian vision of the universe, but also a vision that destroys the very concept of being. He wants to implement a state of nothingness, to reabsorb creation into the primitive nothingness, which is gnosis. If he succeeds, he will have attained his ultimate goal."
6
There is no void of religion, there is the replacement with another. Jean Baudrillard describes the process in Simulacra and Simulation
5
It reminds me of Redjac from Star Trek's A Wolf in the Fold and egregores. From LotR "Sauron has regained much of his former strength. He cannot yet take physical form, but his spirit has lost none of its potency. "
5
I think physics and math are the only things worth going to college for for most people.
5
@HontasFarmer80 I don't know. I went into engineering after physics and while I've never used anything from thermo directly, it was one of the best classes to learn how to think about real world problems and 'debunk' crackpot world changing inventions
5
@gordonintendo It's the gnostic belief
5
Sounds like thy are trying for a Tower of Babel
5
@JudoMateo That would explain Hollywood 🤣🤣🤣
4
🤣
4
Blavatsky, theosophy, the Cathars. [Esoteric Nazism] is a very deep hole
4
You should look into the Fabians and the LSE and Lenin
4
@kevinscott9242 More decentralization
4
Almost like a religious "war for souls"
4
@Sceptonic Part of the gnostic goal
4
That Voegelin quote reminds me of Spengler and the Faustian bargain of Western Civilization
4
@christianlibertarian5488 There is very little that you cannot do with a physics degree
4
