I can't even post the policies here for whatever reason, but back in college before the web, I used to troll people by seeing how many people agreed with unattributed h- quotes. It's described as 'Satanic' and the quintessential heresy. When your reality does not match truth reality, it helps you identify your incorrect assumptions or measurements.

In my senior year of high school, we had a presentation by an engineer who said that he had minored in English and it was one of the best decisions he had made because communication is so important. I don't know about that as everyone that I've ever worked with had good comm skills, but I can definitely see it as a plus.
