I've been pretty obsessively following this for a while (due to completely unrelated interests), but don't really know, or care, about anything the religion says, just the people and actions that surround it. I've come to many of the same speculations and have been calling it a cult for years.

  15. HG Wells' The Open Conspiracy . CS Lewis, Tolkien and Wells were all on (the opposite side (?)) of the same page. Long ago in the depths ancient memory I think I read that Wells was commissioned somehow to write about 'the elite's plans' and that Lewis and Tolkien were trying to warn. I think you could throw Orwell and Huxley in there too. Something about how evil must announce its plans (Mein Kampf?) so if nobody does anything, they are guiltless.... Something like that.
